If you are looking for an outlet for your craft, then South Hill Park have extended the application deadline for their annual craft fair to Thursday 31 March. So if you are a painter, textile artist, jeweller, silversmith, woodturner, printmaker, ceramicist or glassmaker (etc!) there is still time to apply for your own stall. A curatorial committee - made up of staff and SHP resident artists - will view the applications in April.
Stall prices vary between £185 and £245 depending on size and location but they do accept joint applications so you could lower your costs by sharing with a colleague and the good news is no commission is taken from artists' sales. Makers are also provided with promotional leaflets and entry into the catalogue so it could be a good investment of your money.
South Hill Park offer over 80 stall positions in their Georgian mansion and modern theatre and gallery space at their craft fair which has established a reputation for high quality craftsmanship and a welcoming atmosphere over the past 25 years.
