Emerging and established artists are invited to submit work for a group exhibition responding to or challenging the idea of intuition and the experience of ‘just knowing,’ apparently before or without sensory clues. Is it a pre-sensory experience, an experience of presence, an awareness of ‘inner time’ or something else?
Work made in the last two years (2009 onwards) - in painting, drawing, digital and new media, performance to camera and small to medium scale 3-D work - that engages in some way with the theme of the project is eligible.
Susan 1 will be installed in three large empty rooms in a modern house in Headington, Oxford, previewing on Friday 6 May with the exhibition continuing on 7 and 8 May.
