ARC EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 2010

Ed Pien, South Hill Park
ARC might be working on a tight budget - as all arts organisations are at the moment - but we still have some great events coming up in September. Most events are free and open to everyone, so if you would like to reserve a place just email the contact given with the event details and we'll see you there.

Symposium: Art & Space
Wednesday 8 September, 1 – 6pm, FREE
De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea
Art & Space, organised by Coastal Currents Festival 2010 and supported by ARC, brings together five leading curators from London and the South East to explore the use of the public domain as a gallery space.
The afternoon will provide an intriguing insight into a range of recent exciting and innovative site-specific projects across the region. Discussions will contextualise Coastal Current's artist intervention programme 'Place', developing around central themes of art and regeneration, location temporality and permanence, social engagement and a move from the role of the artist auteur to collaborator or producer.
Please book in advance by calling 07841 757866 or email creativecoastmail@gmail.com
